Our Clients
The client base of Geotron UK includes predominantly
Environmental and Engineering Consultants, both local, national and
multi-national companies. Our work generally comprises the site-based,
intrusive element of a site investigation, which is performed under
sub-contract to our clients.
Site investigation and remediation projects in which we are involved
are, in the main, commissioned by commercial entities such as chemical,
petrochemical, steel and aerospace industries, storage facilities, fuel
stations, transport depots and property development companies. We are
also involved in projects commissioned by regulatory bodies such as the
Environment Agency and Local Councils.
The investigations in which we are involved are required for a variety
of reasons including, but not limited to, site purchase and
divestiture, regulatory compliance, IPPC permitting requirements, site
expansion and redevelopment.
More recently interest has grown in our capability to drill boreholes
for the installation of ground source heat pumping systems on domestic
and commercial sites. This is an expanding field for drilling
contractors such as Geotron UK and our compact multi-purpose rigs are
ideal for such borehole installations in a wide range of geological
circumstances.
