This large truck mounted hydraulic drilling rig, based in the Netherlands, is suitable for environmental, geotechnical and geological investigations under heavy circumstances. As with the Wirth Eco 1, this machine is suited with very powerful rotary casing table for turning, raising and advancing, steel casing to allow rapid progress of cased drilling.

The techniques that can be performed by this rig are as follows:

Solid Stem Auger Drilling (up to 70m);

Cable Percussion Drilling (fully cased boreholes up to 250m);

Rotary Drilling (open hole-up to 300m and coring up to 600m);

DTH Hammer (up to 200m).

The diameters at which the above techniques can be performed can vary depending on the target depth of the borehole, the nature of the geology and the monitoring well or sampling requirements.

Our standard casing diameters are 324mm, 219mm and 178mm, with augers and shells designed to fit through these three diameters. Rotary coring can be performed at 98mm or 146mm OD giving core diameters of 62 and 116mm, respectively.
